Ruth V. Williamsof BinghamtonRuth V. Williams, 83, of Binghamton, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2004 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence in 1974. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Judy (Komor) DeAngelo and her husband, Tino, Binghamton; a stepson, Lawrence Williams, Syracuse; her grandchildren, Lea and Jeff Martin, Apalachin, Melanie Lostumbo, Christopher Williams, both of Syracuse; her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zachery, Shane, Sheena, Jarred, Erin and Megan; several nieces, nephews, including a special great-niece, Brenda Harrington. Ruth was a retiree of the Binghamton Psychiatric Center with 25 years of service. Her family would like to extend their thanks to the entire staff at The Waters of Endicott for the care given to Ruth.The Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., is handling the arrangements, however, due to renovations at the funeral home, funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Chenango Street, Binghamton. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Friends are invite to call Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home.
