RUTH A. TURNER FORMERLY HAMMOND, IN Ruth A. Turner, age 90, formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Bill) Stevens of Highland, IN and Donna (John) Meyer of Eastview, KY; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Turner. Services were held at the convenience of the family. The family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Assn. Ruth was a lifetime resident of this area and worked as a buyer for Edw. C, Minas Co. LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN (219-845-3600) was in charge of arrangements.
