Ruth Thomas 'Tommie' Wright, 88, of Irvington, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at Helmwood Healthcare.She was a retired pharmacy technician and a member of Constantine United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Ova Lee Wright; a sister, Glennie Sharp; and two brothers, Odie and Edward Paul.Mrs. Wright is survived by four sons, Gary Wright (Sheri), Jimmie Wright and Ronnie Wright, all of Irvington, and Jerry Wright (Kim) of Rineyville; five grandchildren, Kevin, Derek, Tristen and Brian Wright and Amie Priddy; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Beulah Blair of Hardinsburg; and a brother, Pierman Paul of Harned.The funeral is at 11 a.m. CDT Monday, Sept. 30, at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT Sunday and continues at 8 a.m. CDT Monday at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Constantine United Methodist Church or Hudson Cemetery.
