Mrs. Ruth Thomas Bennett, age 79, of Cumming passed away Monday, July 28, 2008. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Tom Bennett; son, Ricky Bennett; daughter, Wanda Bennett; and granddaughter, Michelle Bennett Stultz. Survivors include her loving children, Ronald and Marylin Bennett of Cumming, Tommie and Larry Waldrip of Gainesville, Peggy and Michael Smith of Cumming, Patricia and Benny Garrett of Gainesville and Michael and Lynn Bennett of Cumming; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Blackburn and the Rev. David Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
