Ruth Smith Kimball passed away while under hospice care on July 18, 2011, in Rockville, Maryland, where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law for the past five years. She is survived by her son Lewis Kimball and her two daughters Sandy Peloquin (Richard) and Carol Fox. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Ruth was born in Pitman, New Jersey, on December 2, 1912. She was a graduate of Pitman High School and Montclair State Teachers&rsquo; College of New Jersey. She taught in the Pennsgrove and Clayton school districts for more than sixteen years. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis Kimball in 1982. She was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church. Ruth was a loving wife and a devoted mother, and she will be sorely missed. Services will be held at the Pitman United Methodist Church on Saturday July 23rd. The viewing will be from 10:30 to 12:00, and the service will begin at 12:00.
