Ms. Ruth R. Bryant, 77, formerly of Gadsden, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. Cremation services provided by Collier-Butler Funeral Home.Ms. Bryant was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was employed with the South West Ambulance for a number of years. Those who preceded her in death are her son, Mike Bryant; and her parents, Edward and Maude Cruse. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (Joe) Gulledge; and son, James David Bryant; grandchildren, Kim (Jamie) Langley, Jay (Monica) Gulledge, Kelli Bryant Whitten and Melissa Bryant Curry; five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Alzheimers Services of Marshall County. Special thanks to the staff of Alacare Hospice, Dr. Alex Nixon and Dorothy Phillips.
