LEE Ruth Morrow Lee, born January 20, 1919, died peacefully Saturday, October 20th, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL. She attended Robert E. Lee High School and Florida State College for Women (FSU). She retired from the Duval County School system as a 2nd grade teacher and was a member of Peace Presbyterian Church. Ruth will be remembered by her family and friends for her love, strength and faith. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Bradley Lee, daughter Louise Spear Lee, brother Dr. Edward Morrow, sisters Francis Stone and Elizabeth Graves. Survivors include her 3 children: Robert B. Lee, Jr., Ruth Crawford and Dallas Lee (Candace); 6 grandchildren: George Crawford (Christy), John Crawford (Victoria), Jason Crawford (Angela), Bobby Lee, Matthew Lee and Amanda Lee; 6 great-grandchildren Gwenell Crawford, Tori Crawford, Jace Crawford, Devin Crawford, Derrick Lopez, Raquell Lopez and her good friend Jewell Chapman. A memorial service will be held at Peace Presbyterian Church, 2300 Southside Blvd., Jacksonville, FL, at 4:00pm Friday, October 26, 2007. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Haven Hospice, 8301 Cypress Plaza Dr. Suite 119, Jacksonville, Fl. 32256.
