Ruth Morin(née McCrimmon)March 27, 1921 – October 10, 2016Ruth passed away peacefully at the age of 95 at Saskatoon Extendicare Long Term Care Home with family at her side. She was predeceased by her second husband, Henry Morin; parents, Annie and Malcolm McCrimmon; sisters Jean, Nora, Eileen and brother Larry; stepdaughter, Glenna and son- in-law Keith. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Judy, Brenda (John) and stepson Gary (Donna); grandchildren, Alison (Clint), Jennifer, James, Joel, Erin, Heather, Scott; great-grandchildren Austin, Jillian, Brooklyn, Rowan and Alora. Ruth was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan and later moved to Saskatoon where she lived most of her life. She joined the army at the age of 23 with her basic training at Vermillion. She was stationed in Prince Albert where she worked in the Veteran''s Hospital for 3 years and one year in Maple Creek. During this time she met and married her first husband (Colin Scott, deceased) who together had their two daughters. Upon their separation she moved the girls back to Saskatoon where she worked in the Federal Government for the department of Veterans Affairs as a stenographer for twenty years. She met and married her second husband, Henry Morin, in 1976. She retired at the age of 58 and they enjoyed travelling and spending time with their children and grandchildren until Henry''s passing in 2004. As per her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her parents. Arrangements entrusted to Samantha Cheal.
