Ruth Lotts Martin Ruth Lotts Martin, 94, a homemaker and retired as a sales lady for Putnam's Jewelry, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at Harbor Breeze Senior Living in Carrabelle. The service will be at 2 p.m. EDT Friday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Road Chapel (850-893-4177), with burial at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park.Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, Carrabelle Team, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308 or Saint Paul's Methodist Church, 1700 N. Meridian Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303. She was a native of Stanton, Va., and had lived in Tallahassee for more than 45 years. She worked at Putnam's for 25 years.She is survived by a son, Carl M. Martin Jr. of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Julia Serrett of Mount Sidney; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Elaine Connell; a great-granddaughter, Kyrstal Casey Connell; and her former daughter-in-law, Madeleine W. Martin; two nephews, A.D. Wood and Harold Wood; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Martin Sr., and a sister, Frances Lotts Brooks.
