Jan. 27, 1920 - July 2, 2013We are sad to announce that our dear Aunt Ruth passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 93 in Victoria, B.C. Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Floyd (1997), her cherished sister, Ellen (2013) and brother, Orville (1991) and best friend and sister in law, Eileen (1992). Left to mourn are her niece and nephews and their spouses, the children of Ellen: Ray (Helen) Jutras, Danny (Wendy, predeceased 2005) Jutras, Ruth Ellen (Dennis) Pascut, and Ray (Helen) Jutras. Also mourning her loss are the nieces and nephew, the children of Eileen: Geri (John) Fialka, Linda (Jim) Richards, Cathy (Jim) Crawford, and John Pearson (Elizabeth predeceased in 2001) and Cindy. Sadly missing Aunt Ruth, too, are niece, Debbie (Alfred) and nephew Rob Brunelle, the children of Orville. Auntie Ruth will also be greatly missed by her special great and great great nieces and nephews, as well as many other good friends. Thanks go to the wonderful staff both at Ross Place Retirement Home and with Beacon Community Care Services, and to Dr. Charles Medhurst for their dedicated care of Aunt Ruth over the past few years. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, July 26, 1:30 pm at First Memorial, 1155 Fort St. Victoria, B.C. followed by a reception at the home of Jim and Cathy Crawford, 1951 Ferndale Rd, Victoria, B.C. from 3-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Ruth's memory. Rest in Peace, Aunt Ruth...we miss you!
