Carroll passed away at 6:01 am Tuesday January 6, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo., due to injuries suffered from a fall. She was born July 4, 1943 in St. Louis, Mo., to John and Ruth Foster.Ruth graduated from Parkview High School in 1961. Ruth retired from Bass Pro Shops in October 2013 after thirty three years. She was a member of the American Legion Post 639 Ladies Auxiliary.Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert L Carroll; sister Betty Burns; three children Renee (Scott) Adams, Rachelle (Richard) Marlin, and Ross (Beth) Carroll; seven grandchildren, Jordan Adams, Jarrod (Niomi) Adams, Lindsey (Daniel) Nilsen, Nicholas Marlin, Kendra Kelly, Jayce Carroll and Owen Carroll.Visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be Friday January 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with interment at White Chapel Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation be made to:American Legion Post 6392660 S ScenicSpringfield, MO 65807
