LAKELAND -- Mrs. Ruth Kimball of Lakeland died of congestive heart failure Sunday (June 11, 2006) in Lakeland. She was 99.Born in Detroit on Sept. 18, 1906, she came to Lakeland from Washington, Mich., in 1977. She was a homemaker and a member of Rebecca. She was a member of Kathleen United Methodist Church.Mrs. Kimball was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Kimball. She is survived by her sons, Karl Kimball, Lakeland, Bill Kimball, Smyrna, Tenn.; daughters, Virginia Graus, Clearwater, June Doche, Zebulon, Tenn., Mitzie Wheelis, Lakeland; 27 grandchildren;44 great-grandchildren; 48 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Berkley, Mich.
