SMITH, Ruth Kathleen Marjorie - Peacefully passed away in her sleep and went to be with her maker on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 78. Beloved wife and best friend for 59 years to Henry J. Smith. Loving mother of Linda (John) Ricard, Randy Wayne, and the late Terry James. Dear grandmother of Michelle (Jim), Cory (Rossy), Clinton (Wendy), Shallyn (Chris) and Wayne. Great-grandmother of Chantele, Cheyenne, William, Terry, Chelsea and Sean. Survived by her brothers-in-law Ron (Anne) Smith and Tom (Margaret) Smith and sister-in-law Ethel Wakelin. Ruth was a sister of the Kingdom Hall, Montrose Road for many years. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who knew her. Friends and family will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at HETHERINGTON & DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at 2 o'clock p.m. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
