WHEELER, Ruth J. Age 83, of 3111 Cummings Creek Rd., Tioga, PA, passed away November 8, 2008 at her home. She was born October 6, 1925 in Tioga, PA, the daughter of Clyde and Mabel Lovejoy Rarrick. She was a homemaker and former employee of Hilltop Fashions and Corning Glass Works. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Thompson, Tioga, PA; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Ernest Mosher, Elmira, NY; 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Roy) Hughes Jr., Tioga, PA; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Wheeler; sisters, Martha Nagley and Elizabeth Strong; and brothers, Claude and Albert Rarrick. Friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Elkland, PA, Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held following calling hours at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Larry O'Dell, officiating. Burial will be in Knowlton Cemetery, Gaines Twp., PA. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
