FLEMING, RUTH I., 77 of Louisville, passed away Monday at Baptist Hospital East. She was the former Ruth Sloan. She was born in Rushsylvania, Ohio. She was a retired Customer Service Rep. for the office of J.C. Penny where she worked at for 25 years. She was a member of Rushsylvania Methodist Church in Ohio. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Sloan, and her sister Anna Belle Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Harry R. Fleming; her children , Cheryl Fogle (Daren) Kenton OH., Gregg Fleming (Jennifer), Gadsden, AL., Kim Fleming (Jill), Port St. Lucie, FL., Chris Fleming (Sharlene), Argenta, IL., Steve Fleming (Sharon), Louisville, KY., Michael Fleming (Jeanie), Louisville, KY.; sister, Helen Simmons (Virgil) Rushsylvania, OH.; eight grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, 17 step great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday 11 a.m. at the Rushsylvania Methodist Church in Rushsylvania, OH. Burial in Rushsylvania Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 Wednesday at the Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, KY., 9318 Taylorsville Rd. and 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, OH. In Lieu of flowers expressions may be made to the American Heart Association.
