HOWELL, Ruth R., of Key Largo, formerly of Tampa, passed away Wednesday,May 23, 2007. She is survived by her spouse, Louis, of Key Largo; daughter, Rebecca (Ronnie); and grandaughter, Sarah of Fort White, Fla. She was the daughter of Plutarco Roa, who was the pastor of First United Methodist Church of Ybor City. She taught for many years at Robles Elementary School, was a swimming instructor for Hillsborough County summer programs and a member of the Tampa Skydivers. A celebration of life will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, June 8, at Key Largo Baptist Church, 835 Largo Road, Key Largo, Fla.
