Ruth Frazier Lee - SAVANNAH - Ruth Frazier Lee went home to glory on June 30, 2008 at Hospice Savannah, Inc., at 7:30 p.m. She was surrounded by lots of family and friends, as she would have it. She was a native of Pineland, SC, she moved to Savannah as a young adult. She was a member of Bunn Memorial Baptist church which she attended for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years; Gus Lee, a twin brother; Robert Frazier, a brother; Fred Frazier, a sister; Maude Wingster, and her daughter; Ruby Jenkins. A friend to all, a mother to many, Sis. Lee was always lending a helping hand, a kind word, a source of comfort and caring, and a beacon of hope. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons; Atty. Oliver (Gloria) Lee of Atlanta, GA, Larry (Ayanna) Lee of Manassas, VA, Alvin Leroy Lee, four daughters; Granelle Lee, Idella Lee (Ronald) Cooper, Gussie Marie (Donovan) Lawrence all of Savannah, GA, Ruby Stone of Pompano Beach, FL, three brothers; Stephen (Gladys) Frazier, Jr. of Hilton Head, SC, Rev. Richard (Carolyn) Frazier, of Rome, GA and Allen Frazier of Ellicott, MD, three sisters; Agnes Pinkney of Pineland, SC Martha (Sammy) Martin of New York, NY, Katie Bing of Philadelphia, PA. She leaves a legacy of 23 grandchildren, 35 great- grandchildren, 4 great- great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Bunn Memorial Baptist Church, 620 Harmon Street, Pastor Charlie B. Dillard, officiating. Interment: Woodville Cemetery.
