->Johnson, Ruth ElizabethMontrose, PA: Ruth Elizabeth Johnson, 80, of Montrose, PA passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness. Ruth was born in Clarks Summit, PA to the late Richard George and Lillis Ida (Pratt) MacBain. Her husband of 54 years, Julian Richmond Johnson, predeceased her in 2006. Surviving are her three children and their spouses, Julie Ann Johnson, Montrose, PA, Timothy Jennings and Pamela June Johnson, Montrose, PA, Karen Aileen and Kenneth Edward Jackson, Sanford, NC; three grandchildren and their spouses, Joshua Timothy (Tiffany Ann) Johnson, Crystal Elizabeth (Robert William) Granish, Amanda Joy (James Lee) Rutter; three great grandchildren, Alex Timothy Johnson, Colten Timothy Granish, Brooke Marie Granish; brother, Roger MacBain, Kingsley, PA; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Robert Decker, Montrose, PA and their children Sandy, Mary, and Lori; and companion of four years, Walter Ordakowski, Westchester, IL. Ruth was a professional educator working with special education. She was an artist, writer, craftswoman, musician, historian, genealogist, explorer, world traveler, business woman, entrepreneur, competitive roller skater, skating instructor and certified skating competition judge. Ruth was the loving care giver to her husband, Julian Richmond Johnson. The family will hold memorial services for Ruth in the spring. Ruth will be interred in the Lathrop-Squier Cemetery, Lathrop Twp., PA.
