Ruth Elizabeth Harrington Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Harrington, 76, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at her son's home in Quincy, FL. Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. John Vanstone will officiate. Interment will be in Springhill Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hill Bennett, Victor Cole, Phillip Gainous, Jimmy Ausburn, Gregory Sawyer and Melvin Hopkins.Born September 2, 1932 in Allstedt, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Fritz Reiche and Elsa Schroder Reiche. She married the now late William Randolph Harrington on May 17, 1963. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1976. She was a retired produce clerk with Winn Dixie. Mrs. Harrington was of the Lutheran faith.Survivors include sons, Bruce Harrington (Dean Copeland) of Quincy, Fla., and Reese Harrington of Tallahassee, Fla.; sisters and sisters-in-law, Margot Drouillard of Chicopee, Mass., Ingrid Reiche of Sangerhausen, Germany, Christina Reiche of Allstedt, Germany and Andrea Sawyer (Thomas) of Albany, Ga.; brother-in-law, Davis Lee Harrington (Eunice) of Taylor, S.C.; devoted niece and family, Karen Carter (Danny and Sky) of Ochlocknee, Ga.; and a host of loving relative and friends.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT today at Clark Funeral Home (229-377-1414), Cairo.
