Huntsville<!--Huntsville-->Funeral for Ruth Chaviers Carroll, 84, of Huntsville will be Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Bethleham Baptist Church with the Rev. Al Phillips and the Rev. Eldridge Criscoe officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Carroll, who died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Cogburn Health and Rehabilitation, was born Feb. 6, 1924, in Etowah County. She was a member of Bethleham Baptist Church for 50 years. She is survived by her husband, Reuben Carroll; son, Mickey Chaviers and wife, Debra; daughters, Ann McAnally and husband, Elliott, Janice Hunter and husband, Ray, Myra Day and husband, Ben; stepsons, Barry Carroll and wife, Sherry, and Robert Carroll and wife, Leanne; step-daughter, Rhonda Ritter and husband, Kirk; brother, A.B. Nix; sister, Flora Bates; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and three greatgreat-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
