BENNETT, RUTH, 86, of Louisville, passed away February 18, 2009 at her home. She was a retired employee for P. Lorillard Cigarette Mfg. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leslie Bennett. She is survived by her daughter, Emily "Liz" Crowe (Phil); granddaughters, Connie Rieber (Chris) and Angel Wilder (Doug); and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Inez Hallman, of Burns, MS, Irene Clark of Phoenix City, AL, and Mary Shelnutt and Maudie Irwin, of LaGrange, GA. Her funeral service will be held Friday 11 a.m. at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman's.
