SMITH, RUTH A Smith, Ruth A. of Birmingham, AL went home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2011. Mrs. Smith retired from Rust Engineering. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel O. and Roebirdie Adams; sisters, Mildred A. Chestnut and Evelyn Lansdon. She is survived by a sister, Helen A. (Neil) Armstrong and several nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 10 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. >
