Ruth Annie Bell Johnson, of Sudbury, and formerly of Watertown and Dennis, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, February 12, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 93, and the beloved wife for 71 years of Leonard Johnson. Born in Douglas, Coffee County, Georgia, Ruth was a daughter of the late Mark and Viola (Flanders) McKinnon. She was the devoted mother of Linda Revell Consoletti, and her husband Daniel of Sudbury, and Betty Ann Andrews, and her husband Paul of Pembroke, NH; cherished grandmother of Justin Paul Revell of Framingham, Faye Victoria Andrews of Boston, and John Wesley Andrews of Pembroke, NH. Ruth was predeceased by her nine siblings. She was a fabulous homemaker, and her passions were gardening, cooking, and decorating. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock on Weds. Feb. 19, at the Duckett - J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd. (Rt. 20) SUDBURY. Interment will follow in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury. Visiting hours Weds. from 9:30 to 11 AM, prior to the service; relatives and friends kindly invited.
