PATERSON, Russell James January 9, 1959 March 8, 2012 Everybody's favourite Uncle Russ" passed away peacefully the morning of March 8th after a courageous six-year battle with prostate cancer. Predeceased by his father, Dave in 2006, Russ will be sadly missed by his wife and soul mate, Kellie; his Mother, Brenda; brothers Les (Christine) and Hugh (Sherry); sister, Elaine (Jonathan); many loving nieces, nephews, a great-niece as well as extended family. Russ also leaves behind a legacy of long-term special friends including Pete Waelti, Doug Glover, Steve Insley, Chris Healey and Dino Petropoulos. Russ was an H.V.A.C. trade professional Journeyman with Accutemp Refrigeration for 25 years and more recently with Johnson Controls LLP. His nurturing, easy care way will be greatly missed by numerous colleagues, long-term customers and trade associates. Russ had a passion for the marine world and his most treasured time was aboard the Caitlyn Jane" with Kellie. Special thanks to the gracious team of care givers at Victoria Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Victoria Hospice Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
