Funeral services for Ruie Faye Morgan Tidwell Johnson, 75, of Oxford, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. The Rev. Dwayne Palmer will officiate and burial will be in Eulaton First Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends tonight from 5-7 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson passed away, July 23, 2010. She was a member of Eulaton First Baptist Church and retired from Anniston Army Depot. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Lindon, son-in-law, Mike Lindon; husband, Norris Johnson; stepdaughter, Joan (Larry) White; stepson, David (Beverly) Johnson and all of their children; sister, Lena Stimpson and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, John Kenneth Tidwell; parents, James Calvin Morgan and Mary Pearl Pruitt Morgan; brothers, Marion, Linioel, George, Hobart, James, Herbert, Howard, and Luther Morgan; sisters, Jeppie Morgan, Tressie Waters, and Jewel Morgan. The family would like to thank the staff of The Village at Cook Springs, Odyssey Health Care, special friend Pat Davis, and Mrs. Johnson's sitters and caregivers for the many kindnesses that they did for her and her family.
