Funeral for Ruby Pauline Woodall Clark, 95, of Decatur was Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Frances Moss officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation was Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Clark died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Medical Center East in Birmingham. She was born Oct. 19, 1909, in Decatur to Claude Bedford Woodall and Dovie Sparkman Woodall. She was a resident of Decatur for 85 years. She moved to St. Martin Assisted Living in Birmingham and spent the last five years at Trussville Nursing Home. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Austinville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Thomas Clark. Survivors include one daughter, Ethelyn “Nell” Clark Eason of Clay, Ala.; two grandsons, David Clark Eason and his wife, Deborah, and Alan Charles Eason and his wife, Katy, all of Birmingham; four great-grandchildren, Michael Clark Eason of Birmingham, John Thomas Eason of Auburn, Taylor Edwin Eason and Lily Eason, both of Birmingham; one sister, Rosa Mitchell of Decatur; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ray Mitchell, David C. Eason, Alan C. Eason, Michael C. Eason, John T. Eason and Taylor E. Eason.
