Mrs. Ruby Moore, 95, a former resident of Florence, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at White Hall Nursing and Rehab Center, White Hall, Ill.Mrs. Moore had been a resident of Florence most of her life until moving to Illinois to be near her daughter. During the time she worked as a waitress at The Shanty and King Cotton Court, she was known as Ruby Risener and Ruby Weaver. She also had been a babysitter in her home on Trade Street.She attended East Florence Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by daughters, Marie Cotton Ratliff and Frances Risener Worsham Cisneros.Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Florence Cemetery.She is survived by daughters, Grace Camerer and husband, Tucker, of Murrayville, Ill., and Ruby Dean Liles and husband, Roger, of Florence; an 99-year-old sister, Mary Naomi Roberson, of Walkerton, Ind.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.You are invited to sign the online guest register at elkinsfh.com.
