FARTHING - Ruby Marie Age 80; passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 in Sebring, FL. She was born in Oyster, VA to George Lee and Aline (Marshall) Parker. Mrs. Farthing was a Homemaker, member of the First Christine Church in Avon Park and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1986 coming from Angola, NY. She is survived by her children dot Cilono of West Seneca, NY, Rita Sparacio (wes) of Angola, NY and George Farthing of Avon Park, FL; sister Elsie Moore of Capeville, VA; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Farthing was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Wayne Farthing, a son Bud Farthing and a daughter Aline Wilson. A memorial service will be held Thurdsay, September 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the STEPHENSON-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Avon Park, FL with Rev. Mike Adams officiating.
