Mrs. Jones was a native of Lynn Grove, KY and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Gladys Key Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carlos Jones, who died in 1987; son, William Mac Jones; two brothers, J.W. and Hilton Williams; sister, Rubena McNeely. Mrs. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church of Beech Grove. Funeral service will be 6 p.m., Sunday at First Baptist Church of Beech Grove. Reverend Tom Brantley will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Additional services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray, KY. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until time of services. Burial in Salem Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.Mrs. Jones is survived by two daughters, Sara Phillips and her husband Roy of Beech Grove, Gwendolyn Barber and her husband Phillip of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Gregg (Debbie) Jones of Tallahassee, FL, Randy (Robin) Jones of Kennesaw, GA, Elaine (Jon) Alexander of Franklin, Jeffrey (Allison) Jones of Franklin, Janene Steward of Beech Grove, Ed (Sloan) Barber of Raleigh, NC and Scott (Lisa) Barber of Houston, TX; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law; Evelyn Jones of Murray, KY.Woodfin Memorial Chapel, 615-893-5151www.woodfinchapel.com
