RUBY M. FERNANDES 79, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2002 at home with her loving family at her side. She was born in Alabama, July 9, 1923 and had lived in Lake Worth for over 65 years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Before her retirement, she was a Health Care provider at Good Samaritan and Bethesda Hospitals. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John; and her children: Pat (Walt) Martin, Becky (Pedro) Palma, and John, Jr. She also leaves her sister, Jean Wimmer and her daughter, Cheryl Evans of Aurora,CA; her grandchildren: Dawn (Robert) Rosado, Darlene (Pete) Tyson, James (Jaycee) Martin, Jr., Angela (Eric) Nowling, Richard Palma, and Michael Fernandes of San Jose, CA, and Brian Fernandes of Tallahassee, FL; her great-grandchildren: Cori, Stephanie, Anna, and Casey Tyson, Heather Nowling, Caleb Palma, Kailey and James Martin, III, and Sean, Maureen, Lauren and Lindsey Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her family will receive their friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at DORSEY FUNERAL HOME, 3525 South Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 PM.
