Ruby Verona Kelly Williams, 82, formerly of 1023 E. Cedar Rock St., wife of the late Campbell Williams, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at Easley Nursing Center. Mrs. Williams was born in Pickens County, daughter of the late Marvin and Lexia Smith Kelly. She was a retired employee of Sangamo and was a member of Cannon Mountain Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Williams and her husband, Stan, of Pickens; a son, Joe Williams and his wife, Judy, of Pickens; five brothers, R.G., Alton and Joe Kelly, all of Central, and Harold and Jack Kelly, both of Greenville; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was predeceased by two daughters, Marie Waters and Martha Smith, and six brothers. Funeral services were held Sunday in the chapel of Dillard Memorial Custom Funerals by the Rev. Charlie Bishop and the Rev. Jimmy Holliday. Interment followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. The family is at the home.
