Ruby Knight Campbell, age 75, of Florence, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at ECM Hospital. She was a native of Talladega County, Ala., and a member of First Baptist Church, Center Star.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Greenview Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Webb.She was preceded in death by her husband, Earvel Campbell; parents, Thomas Henry and Myrtle West Knight; brothers, Charles Cantrel and Ervin Knight; and one sister, Ethel Woods.She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Hubbard and husband, Ronnie, of Florence, Shirley Christie and husband, Edward, of Alpine, Ala.; son, Ronnie Campbell and wife, Libby, of Killen; sister, Joyce Holt, of Montgomery, Ala.; brother, Billy Knight, of Talladega, Ala.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be her family and friends.What do you say when you lose someone you love; your heart breaks even though we knew time was near.
