SMITH Ruby Irene (nee Rinta) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Princeton General Hospital just two months prior to her 80th birthday. Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur (Bill), her parents, Katie and Arvid, along with siblings Edwin, Edith and twin, Robert. For many years Ruby worked for CN Telecommunications in Vancouver where she and Bill resided. They retired to their beloved Allison Lake where they enjoyed many happy years and in recent years, resided in Princeton. Ruby is survived by many nieces, cousins and their families. At Ruby's request there will be no service. In her memory and in her own words she expressed that we all take time to enjoy nature, plant a tree or talk to a bird. The family wishes to thank every one at Vermilion Court, where she resided for the past two years, and all those in Princeton who helped and cared for her during her declining years. Ruby will be dearly missed by her family and friends but her vibrant spirit and wonderful sense of humour shall not be forgotten.
