May 18, 1915 ~ January 23, 2013MOM ~ NANA ~ G.G.Passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend, Denny Walker, great grandson, Brandon Fagan, brother, Don Davidson and nephew, Ern Davidson. She is survived by her sister, Pearl Taylor, daughters; Ruby (Bill) Cartwright, Linda (Gerry) Fagan and son, Ken. Grandchildren; Rick, Krista (Trevor), Steve (Tina), Kevin (Ally), Cory, Tyler (Shelly). Great grandchildren; Victoria, Kayler, Dennis, Wyatt and Dawson. Also, many loving nieces and nephews, and good friend, Edith Digby.Ruby was a member of Archie McKinnon's Flying "Y" Swim Team, was in the first synchronized swim team, was involved for many years with the P.T.A. at Tolmie School and she volunteered for over 50 years at both Saanich and Westshore Health Clinics. Over the years, Mom made many friends in Port Alberni while visiting Linda and Gerry. The family wants to thank the wonderful staff at Resthaven Lodge, Sidney, B.C."Mom will be missed, she was loved by all."There will be no service at her request.
