Ruby C. Morrow LYMAN, SC-- Ruby Ellen Clayton Morrow, 92, of Edwards Store Road, widow of George Washington Morrow, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at Alpha Health & Rehab. Born December 24, 1918, in Lyman, SC, she was a daughter of the late D.D. and Hattie Stone Clayton. She was a retired employee of Startex Mill and a member of Apalache Baptist Church, where she attended church each Sunday. She will be missed by all. Surviving are one grandson, Mitchell Morrow of Easley; one brother, Palmer Clayton of Lyman; and two sisters, Lola Howard of Lyman and Etolia Vassey of Campobello. Mrs. Morrow was predeceased by three sons, Daniel L. Morrow, Donald Morrow, and Marshall Morrow; five brothers, Hubert Clayton, S.P. Clayton, J.C. Clayton, James Lee Clayton, and Robert Clayton; and two sisters, Monty Taylor and Lorijean Prince. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Eddie Cooper and Rev. Jim Carpenter. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
