ROWAN-Dorothy Harding, of Sayville, NY, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, in her 99th year. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and by her sisters, Rosemary Malone and Louise Harding and her several cousins. Loving mother of Thomas and Fr. John, Long Island; Terry (Rita), San Diego, CA; and Michael (Maria), Caracas, Venezuela. Wise grandmother of Elisa, Dennis, Thomas and Kenneth; Rachel Sweigert, Mary Beth, John, Colin, David and Leigh; Mia Accardo, Rochene Hellen, Rebecca, Michael and Gibran. Great-grandmother of seven. Survived also by dedicated nieces and nephews, and by loyal and true neighbors and friends, who were her companions and soul-mates to the end. Teacher, Catechist, Eucharistic Minister, Artist, Letter-Writer to the makers and reporters of political news, her ticket to heaven was punched by the poor (MT:25). Visiting at Raynor and D'Andrea Funeral Home, 245 Montauk Hwy., West Sayville, Friday, February 24, 2-4:30 pm and 7-9:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 25, 10 am, St. Lawrence Martyr RC Church, Sayville. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Bay Shore.
