CRUZ, Rosemary, 93, a native of Tampa, passed away Monday, May 21, 2007. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Tin, second husband, Raymond Cruz, and her brother and sister-in-law, Macho and Chita Alfonso. She is survived by her loving children, daughters, Gladi King, and Nancy Mitchell and husband, the Rev. George; son, Eastern Tin; grandchildren, Lisa Grant, Bill King Jr., Caleb Mitchell and wife, Elisa, Stephen Mitchell, Esther Turner and husband, Clark, and Mark Tin; great-grandchildren, Ali and Taylor Grant; two brothers, Luciano and Mercy Alfonso, and Louis and Dahlia Alfonso; many nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Cruz was a lifetime member of Davis Island Baptist Church. The family will gather with friends 10-11 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2007, at Davis Island Baptist Church, with services at 11 a.m., followed by burial at Marti-Colon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davis Island Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 97 Biscayne Ave., Tampa FL 33606.
