WILLIAMS Rose Tristine Williams, age 93, beloved mother, grand-mother, greatgrand-mother and friend, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in Peoria, Ariz., where she lived for the past 12 years. Born February 24, 1915 in Harrison, N.Y., Rose lived most of her life in Stratford, where many remember her from "Pop's" Restaurant in Lordship. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Albert R. Williams, and her brothers, Donald and Martin Tristine. She is survived by her four children, Diane Williams of Gulfport, Fla., Nancy Kritz-Barrett and her husband, Chris, Susan Williams of Peoria, Ariz. and Albert P. Williams and his wife, Diana, of Stratford. She will also be missed by her four grandchildren, Aaron and Amy Kritz of Phoenix, Ariz., Jillian vom Saal of Gulfport, Fla., and Danielle Williams of Shelton; also, great-grandchildren, Zachary Kritz and Noah Doyens; as well as several nieces and nephews. Rose will always be remembered for her energy, her sense of humor, and her love for the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3, 2008 at 10 am at Our Lady of Peace Church in Lordship with a Mass of Christian Burial. Internment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Thursday, October 2, 2008 in McDonald's Funeral Home in Stratford from 5 to 8 pm.
