Rose St. Amour Oct. 3, 1930 - Jul. 16, 2014 BROOKLYN - Rose St. Amour, 83, of 44 Canterbury Rd. Brooklyn and formerly of Baltic died Wednesday afternoon at the Pierce Memorial Baptist and Rehab in Brooklyn. She was born in Norwich on October 3, 1930 the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Hoffman) Hauschild. Rose was employed for a number of years as a Adminstrative Assistant for the U.S. Goverment before retiring. On'June 15, 1948 she married Leo E. St. Amour at St. Mary's Church in Baltic who died on January 14, 1985. The family would like to give a special thank you to Creamery Brook Village and Pierce Memorial Baptist Home for all their care and compassion. Survivors include one son, Robert St. Amour of Pawcatuck; three daughters, Paula Wilson and her husband Mark of West Dennis, MA, Dawn Riley and her husband John of Canterbury and Marie Myers and her husband Tierney of Nazareth, PA; two sisters, Dorothy Macht of Uncasville and Hilda McClure of Loveland, CO; her grandchildren, Damian and Nathan Charron, Katie and Bryan Wilson and Nicholas St. Amour; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Paige, Chase, Haley and Noah Charron and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
