ALBANY Rose Forezzi Smith, 85, was called home to be with the other angels on Friday, October 13, 2006. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna LaMorta Forezzi. Wife of George Smith; mother of Beverly Jones of Albany, Mark Jones of Albany, Joanna Wojick of Schenectady and Robert Smith of Albany; sister of Louis Forezzi and the late Anthony, Dominick, Joseph and Charles Forezzi, Anna Lozano, Julia Austin, Katherine Motta and Anna Forezzi; beloved grandmother of Michael Saleh, Ciara Shastany, Ralph Shastany, Anthony Cafarelli, Trista Smith, Tiffany Smith, Robert Smith Jr. and Rion Smith; great-grandmother of Jade. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and her special niece, Ann Lee. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the Ann Lee Nursing Home (1 West) for their continued love and care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. John-St. Ann Church in the South End. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany, Sunday from 4-8 p.m. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
