MORROW, Rose MaryOctober 13, 1918 – April 2, 2015A Classy lady, full of wit and compassionBorn in Irma, Alberta, Rose Mary Sharkey was the second youngest of seven siblings. She married Jack Carswell – their children were Douglas and Dennis. In '51 Jack drowned, and two years later, Rose married Hugh (Jack) Morrow (Susan, Peggy & 'Hughie'). Jack Morrow passed in '69. Working various jobs, Rose found her niche when she opened 'Le Papier' off Whyte Ave. She loved Old Strathcona, was an avid admirer of the Queen, loved her flower garden, and frequented the 'Citadel and Jubilee' theatres. Family was a priority and she doted on the grandkids. Since 2008 she lived in Castor and Coronation care facilities. She left us peacefully, at age 96. The family will be having a private memorial.
