ANDREW, Rose Marie (nee St. Denis) On Sunday, November 9, 2008, surrounded by her loved ones, in her 84th year. Wife, mother, grandmother and "warrior woman". Beloved wife of 57 years to Kenneth Andrew "Andy". Dear mother of Suzanne Thrasher (Jerry), Carol Mitchell (John), both of Ottawa, Peter Andrew (Linda), of Courtenay, British Columbia and her "third" daughter, Catherine Stahan. Cherished Grandma extraordinaire of Adam, Erin, Scott and Reid. Rose is also survived by her sister Grace Laviolette. Predeceased by 11 other brothers and sisters. Rose worked many years at Snr NCO's Mess at CFB Uplands and will be remembered for her joy of living, her generosity of spirit and her ability to love unconditionally. She will be missed by all who knew her. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (corner of Albion Road), from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 12th. Funeral Mass Thursday, November 13th, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, (corner of Wilbrod and Cumberland). Private interment at the Beechwood National Military Cemetery.
