Rose Marie Hudson Smith, 61, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, after a long illness in the company of her family at Concord Hospital in Concord.She was born on April 15, 1952 at Woodsville Cottage Hospital in Woodsville. She was the daughter of Margaret (Hudson) and Glenn Stiles.She lived and graduated from High School in Lisbon, the class of 1970. On Aug. 23, 1969 she married Ronald Smith.Rose retired from Sprague Electric in 2000, and worked in customer service for many years at Walmart in Concord. She was a loving, loyal mother, grandmother, and friend. She was happiest spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping and snowmobiling with family and friends, reading, baking, and gardening.She is survived by her parents, Glenn and Margaret Stiles of Lisbon; her three children, Rhonda Clow and her husband, Todd, of Weare, Rebecca Kelly and her husband, Edward, of Merrimack and Ronnie Smith and Mark Wagner of Northfield; four grandchildren, Samuel Clow, Alyssa Clow, Hannah Rose Kelly and Duncan Kelly; one sister, Pamela Mardin and her husband, Lewis, of Landaff; two brothers, John Hudson of Lisbon and Edward Hudson of Concord; and a half-sister, Jackie Shilling and her husband, Tim, of Grand Island, N.Y.; half-brothers, Robert Hudson and his wife, Terri, Greg Hudson and his wife, Norit, Tony Hudson, and Richard Hudson all of Ohio; four aunts from Ohio and several nieces and nephews in New Hampshire, Ohio and New York.A calling hour will be held Friday, July 12, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 3 Church Street, Concord. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.Burial will take place at a later date at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lisbon.The Bennett Funeral Home of Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
