Rose Margaret Johnson, dear mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at her residence. She was 80. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J., under the direction of the Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick, N.J. brunswickmemorialhome.com. Born in Jersey City, N.J., on Feb. 27, 1932, Rose moved to East Brunswick, N.J., over 51 years ago. She had a unique spirit, good sense of humor and lived by the quote, "Dance like nobody's watching, Sing like nobody's listening, Live each day as though it is your last!" She was predeceased by her husband, Aldur, in 2009. Surviving are her children, Aileen Johnson; Steven and his wife, Barbara, both of East Brunswick, and Karen Johnson of Wrightstown, N.J.; by her grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin and Samantha; her brothers, George Cray and his wife, Ann Marie, of Rutherford, N.J., and John Cray and his wife, Maureen, of Lyndhurst, N.J., and many relatives and dear friends. She will be sorely missed.
