She served many years as a telephone operator at the U.S. Naval Submarine Base in Key West. She was a resident of Jefferson County since 1979.She is survived by her husband B. Franklin Kelly; daughter Brenda Wilfong (Richard); son Barry Kelly (Pam) all of Monticello, FL; three grandchildren Kristina Torrance of Richmond, VA; Brett Kelly (Heather) of Jackson, TN; Brenna Kelly of Monticello, FL; and two great grandchildren Megan Torrance of Pensacola, FL and Karlyn Torrance of Monticello, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Consuelo Sanchez; sister Jeanie Sanchez White and brother Eugene Sanchez, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 446 Hatchett Road Lamont, FL 32336, on Thursday, May 9th at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution can be made in her name to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308 or Ebenezer Baptist Church, P.O. Box 652, Monticello, FL 32345.
