Rose M. (DeChirico) Davis, 92, of Syracuse, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. She was born in Syracuse and was a 1941 graduate of North High School. Rose married the love of her life, John, in 1946. She was formerly employed with Learbury's in the cutting room and Kayser Beauty Supply. Rose enjoyed spending time with family and friends and reminiscing about her days in Homer. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary (Parciante) DeChirico; her husband, John Davis in 2000; her siblings, Victor DeChirico, Lucy Longbardo, Nick and Joseph DeChirico. Rose is survived by her son, Michael Davis of Syracuse; her sister-in-law, Edna DeChirico of Syracuse, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Rose's life at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
