WANAQUE — Services were held for Rose H. Ajjan Law, 84, of this community, who died on Monday, July 11, 2011. Born in Paterson, Mrs. Law lived in Hawthorne from 1948 to 1994 before moving to Pequannock and then to Wanaque in 2010. She was a seamstress and a mold maker for Basic Ceramics, Hawthorne. Also, she was a parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne, and Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, Pompton Plains. Services were Thursday at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne, followed by liturgy at St. Anthony's R.C. Church. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Mrs. Law is survived by her daughters, Mary Pat Porcelli of Ringwood, Theresa Petrucci of Ramsey, and Elizabeth Gilbert of Matthews, N.C.; her son, Michael, of Columbia, S.C.; her brothers, John and Charles Ajjan; her sister, Margaret De Mott; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John; and two grandsons.
