LEE, Rose Josephine (nee Lafleur) May 30, 1918 ~ June 4, 2008 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rose Josephine Lee. Born and lived her whole life in Alberta (aside from a short stint in Ontario and several snowbird stints in Arizona), Rose was predeceased by her husband, George Joseph Lee in 1988. Rose and George were active in the community of St. Albert for many years, including with the Catholic Church. She was also predeceased by her two sisters: Juliette and Edna; and her two brothers: Romeo and Gerry. Rose is survived by eight children: Robert of Dallas, Ron (Paddy) of Edmonton, Peter (Dawn) of Costa Rica, Rick of Edmonton, Deborah of Saskatoon, Jean, Ivy and Jim all of Edmonton; twenty grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Richard and Maurice; and one sister, Jeannine; as well as numerous very dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. Prayers will be held at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, on Monday, June 9, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Albert Catholic Church, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 1:00 pm with Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
