MEIER, Rose H., 89, of Lake Placid, Fla., passed away February 2, 2009, at Florida Hospital Lake Placid. She was born in Mineral Springs, N.C., and came to Lake Placid in 1984 from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was a salesperson and a Presbyterian. She was a member of the Lake Placid Art League. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Wudtke of Lake Placid; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid, with Pastor Ray Cameron officiating. A visitation will be one hour before service.
