VAN BUREN - Rose Cyr, 91, died April 12, 2008, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born Dec. 20, 1916, in St. Anne, New Brunswick, the daughter of Arthur and Demerise (Deschenes) Lebel. She is survived by one son, Leo James Cyr of Van Buren; two daughters, Emelda Holeton of Independence, Va., and Janet Cyr of Van Buren; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred V.F. Cyr, in 2001. Relatives and friends may call 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be at the parish cemetery later this spring.
